MARY MARGARET WILLIAMSON PARSONS
Mary Margaret Williamson Parsons was born April 13, 1946, in Temple, Texas to Wayne Laurel Williamson and Lila Mae Walker Williamson. Mary graduated from Temple High School in 1964.
Mary married Wayne T. Parsons II on October 5, 1973, in Temple at the 7th Street Methodist Church. Mary and Wayne had three children: Lisa Michelle married Greg Constance; Karen Denise married Nicky Wilkerson; and Brian Alan Parsons. After living in Temple and Iowa Park, she and Wayne moved to De Leon where Wayne was the Chief of Police.
Mary held many positions during her life from Clerk, Photo Finisher, bank clerk, Vice-President of Construction, to Manager of Convenience Store.
She enjoyed many hobbys such as golfing, reading, quilting, and gardening. She was secretary of the Indian Creek Cemetery Association.
Mary died June 5, 2023, in De Leon, Texas, after a short aggressive battle with cancer. She was buried at Indian Creek Cemetery on June 10, 2023.
