The Indian Creek Cemetery Association was called to order by President, Jimmy Pate.

Twenty three people were present (18 adults and 5 children). This was not enough to conduct business. There must be 25 adults in attendance.

Board of Dicrectors met before general meeting and the report from the meeting is on attachment.

Mr. Pate stated that there had not been any crosses put out this year on unmarked graves.

There was a discussion about the property where the Old Church and Tabernacle once stood. The property owner next to our property has fenced it in and taken some of our property. This is something we will have to hire a lawyer to inform us of our rights. This will be discussed at our next meeting.

Board of Directors Meeting June 3, 2012

Members present were: Jimmy Pate, President; Venetia Scott, Secretary; Jodie Pate, Director; Joe Bowman, Director; L.B. Bowman, Director. 

 Business discussed: 

 L. B. Bowman made a motion that Jimmy Pate be able to sign checks to pay bills incurred by the cemetery association.  Joe Bowman seconded the motion and motion carried.

L. B. Bowman made a motion to appoint Faylene Brown to finish out Gail York’s term as Treasurer of the Indian Creek Cemetery Association.  Joe Bowman seconded the motion.     If Faylene accepts the appointment, she will be able  authorized to sign checks.    Motion Passed.

Joe Bowman made a motion to pick up the utility trailer that belongs to the cemetery association and sell it and put the money back into the Indian Creek Cemetery Associatioin account.  The motion also included that Jimmy Pate be authorized to sell trailer and transfer title.  L. B. Bowman seconded the motion and motioin was passed.

Joe Bowman made motion to adjourn the Director’s meeting and it was seconded by L. B. Bowman.  Meeting was adjourned.
